| Truth doesn't stand a chance, only what people believe matters. For example
the Spanish-American there really was never any public interet in the war. Some politicians got their panties in a bunch over Cuba and whatever but nobody really cared, and nobody was gonna do anything about that anyways. But it
was thanks to a newspaper editor... i think it may have been Joe Pulitzer (yea the pulitzer prize guy) i forget and im too lazy to look it up... that the whole war even started. He
was looking for some news. So he go this picture of the USS Maine, an American ship being
hit by a bomb or something and then made up this story about how it was
all the fault of the Spanish (like Spain not Latin America). But it wasn't their fault in fact they
never did anything to America to start a war. But at the time it was a very popular
sensationalist newspaper so people believed it. and that was all that
mattered. Popular outrage was so great it actually caused President
McKinley to go to war . At least we won it. Anyways the point it is ,
the truth doesn't matter. SO why shouldn't we be empty, shallow, superficial
lumps of vanity and narcissism that only care about what other people think?

flies are tortured into insanity in my house. we dont even need a fly swatter they just go insane and die first they just buzz around then they start to get frantic (b/c there is no food in this house so they can eat anything) and bash their against the windows as if after the first ten times they hit, the 11+ times following, they could bust right through and then they fly around slower.. ...and slower ....and slower then one day you find a fly lying down on the ground , on its side with one little wing flapping as hard as it can so the fly is spinning widly in circles until it dies slowly of starvation i suppose we all have our own problems the fly just wants to live why little fly?
did you know a gold fish attention span is said to be only 5 seconds that means by the time that fish swims around its bowls, the whole bowl is a new expierence so if it has a little bf/gf fishy its like meeting the same fish, and falling in love over and over again thats how my life is right now swimming around around, its this hell pit called ellicott city, with life repeating itself over and over again monotous and unrenewed
of course that stuff about the goldfish is an urban myth nobody really knows the attention span of a goldfish i mean how can you tell show it flash cards??
i had a fish once of course, it was a fish i won @ a fair u kno, the kind that die in 2 weeks it was weird, one day i came down the steps and the fish was one its side in the middle of the water, completely still and i was like i did know fish could swim on their sides i killed the little fishy i mean it may have remembered everything being stuck in the cramped little bowl, no little fishy friends the water getting dirty w/o me noticing slowly suffocating which is, btw, one of the most excrutiating ways to die next to getting your palms and feet nailed to a cross or being impaled poor fish people keep them pent up in bowls when they could be free in the ocean ...to quote calvin & hobbes
"if people could put rainbows in zoos, they do it"
i feel sorry for pet dogs and cats especially when people dress them in sweaters and clothing of course if we set them free we'd prbly shoot them and eat them like deer

| this is old news now
but i forgot to mention the natalee holloway case
&how it shows how racist the media is
i mean how is it that of all the thousands of ppl that go missing , of the many faces u get in the mail on those little postcards of ppl who have been missing for days - years
that this attractive, white, blue-eyed, blond-haired female some how rises above the rest?
her story was on CNN for weeks all for this missing cheerleader, partying on her last week of skool in aruba
yet there are so many others, young children like Jimmy Hoffa lost in the woods..or something ..fairly reccenet which was only on TV for a day or 2 at the least . more on the web

^^how very american
